In response to the devastating earthquake in 2023, Öksüt undertook a diverse range of supportive initiatives in collaboration with the Earthquake Assistance and Donation Organization, with a wide range of support initiatives being implemented. Along with supplying humanitarian aid trucks, a fleet of 18 heavy construction equipment units, with skilled operators, was dispatched to expedite rescue and cleanup efforts.
Recognizing the impact on employees and community members, Öksüt’s community relations team helped facilitate support for those affected. This included the establishment of temporary living neighbourhoods within the disaster area for affected families. Moreover, Öksüt staff coordinated the relocation of some employees’ families who were residing in the disaster-affected zone. These efforts focused on coordinated actions to address the varied needs of earthquake-affected regions, with a particular emphasis on providing both immediate relief and long-term support for recovery.
